After the Holidays: How is your heart?

Honestly, who can deny the fact that during the holiday’s people tend to forget fitness and health when the food is served on every thanksgiving table there is? Yes, it’s hard to say no to those deliciously prepared meals during Christmas. Just imagine, roast beef, ice cream and cakes, salad delights! Oh, its heaven just to think of it, what more if it’s right in front of you? You just can’t help but dig in, agree?

Thus forgetting the calorie counts once had been part of our awareness to avoid gaining that extra pounds. The fats that shouldn’t be part of our diet because too much of it is bad for the heart had been erased in our consciousness. Don’t beat yourself up saying, “Oh my! I ate too much. I’m heavier. Oh my heart…” After that comes depression.

But oh come on, it’s not that bad, don’t worry. It’s perfectly fine that sometimes food craving is hard to control, especially if it’s right there in front of you teasing your appetite. However, now that the holiday’s through its high time for all of us to once again be aware of the concerns of what a healthy diet should be.

So you discovered your blood is quite high. The main solution, what else but exercise. To give it a little more boost, why don’t you try aerobics?

Aerobics is a fun way exercise, it’s moving with a rhythm. It’s like dancing for a cause, and that is to keep our bodies healthy and our heart on the right beat. Get it? Right beat!

There’s more other ways how the results of aerobics can be achieved. Some says there’s aerobics in every sport. Most men play basketball, lawn tennis, and sometimes a few laps on the tracks. Women usually chooses swimming, badminton and yes, a little ballroom or dance lessons on the side just to keep that limbs and muscles stretched and in great shape.

Aerobics is a great way to keep a healthy life. If you can’t do sports, then a few minutes of rhythmic exercise with a little guide from early morning exercise channels on the television or a few rented aerobic fitness instructions is just as good. The important thing is to feel that change.

How do you know its working? That’s easy. After the holidays, after realizing you were tempted to eat the foods that you should be avoiding and before your health gets worst or feels bad, EXERCISE.

It keeps out the toxins. It burns out excess fat. It helps clean your lungs. Most of all, it’s the best way to take care of your heart. For a greater fun, try doing aerobics with the whole family or with your friends, with your boyfriend or girlfriend and realize, it’s not just your health you save; you get to save theirs too.

Now that’s the best feeling, after the holidays! Wouldn’t that be great?
